Once a high-ranking, upstanding member of Peak society, Mastema has all but Fallen in the eyes of those they work with. Sie was held to impossible standards; seen as a symbol of purity due to hir unicorn traits and the undying flowers woven into hir hair, appearances that ultimately meant nothing about her as a person, but people judged nonetheless. Mastema was never good enough for the other Heavenly, especially when the strange illness started taking over the left side of their body…people, sadly, will always cast judgement on things they don’t understand.

Despite following the laws of their land to the letter, and always serving the people as an elected official, whispers about Mastema’s corruption (as if the unknown black markings that creep along their leg were proof of misdeeds), continues to spread through Heavenly Angemo circles. She works as a Lawyer, that always tries to give Angemos sentenced to Fall a fair shake and never unjustly punished… However people who look different and don’t “fit in” into a perfect mold they’ve been slotted into inevitably suffer from the expectations of others, and Mastema is no exception. Still, she tries, believing that what she does is for the greater good, and that suffering rumors are just a burden they must bear.

Time will tell if Mastema can handle this slander with grace, or if sie will, almost certainly understandably, lash out one day in pursuit of the justice and empathy sie’s been denied…

TRIVIA:

— Mastema is chronologically approximately 2600 years old, born of the bond that the Oracle of Delphi had with the Greek goddess of justice, Themis. Appearance and maturity-wise, aer in aer mid-30s.

— Very tall at 7’0”! Super long legs.

— Works as a lawyer in Fallen trials, and has saved a good many Angemo from being condemned.

— The flowers hir body grows are blue roses.

— Their birthday is September 2nd, and their sun sign is Virgo.
