Beel (short for Beelzebub) is basically the Devil/Satan, but they despise being called by that title (and many of the others referring to them as being an evil deceiver) due to the overwhelmingly deep negative stigma surrounding these names. They do not permit anyone to refer to them by any of these names. Beel despises the notion that they spread wickedness and chaos and speak lies to tempt humans to do do evil deeds. Humanitys' actions are their own. They have free will.

Beel is a fallen high angel condemned to watch over what the humans called "Hell" after rebelling against their Mother, often refered to as God. (Though God is technically Beels Mother and Father conjoined into one cosmic entity.)

Beel has an assigned human male (platinum blonde hair version) and assigned female (black hair version) body form. They often wear nun's clothing while using the male body and priest's garb with the female body. They consider them more like costumes, as they see human churches as very hypocritical and often ignore their own teachings. They don't often practice what they preach. The Bible has a lot of incorrect writings, misinformation, and inconsistencies in this world. Beel often wears religious garments but also wears custom formal suits and other formal wear too (usually in a red color).

They actually have a registered human identity in female form, Lucille (often called Lucy) Fern, who is an ordained nun. (This is a reference to one of their names, Lucifer.) Lucy also legally owns a formerly rundown church that acts as a sort of Earth home base for Beel.

Beel's true angelic eyes are fully white (like all angels have), but one has transformed to have a red sclera due to being in Hell, suffering madness and isolation, and their trauma of being villainized by humans making them feel more like a demon. Their human form eyes are a soft light blue.

Arts of Beel usually have a red cross in the piece, which is an important symbol to them. It symbolizes being a martyred sacrifice for their Mother to be worshipped and the pain they feel inside due to being demonized as being evil. Beel has red nails, because humans often claim its taboo to wear red or have red makeup/nails in church.

They have 3 sets of white wings on each side of their body, one side angelic and the other more demonic/monstrous. Beel's "horns" are actually their broken Anchor (most often refered to as a "halo"). An Anchor is a part of an angel and connects them to Heaven. Without it intact, an angel cannot return once they leave. Beel's Anchor was shattered/broken by their Mother as a punishment for rebelling. They wanted the choice of free will for angels, like humans were allowed. Instead of just being treated like soldiers/servants. Their Mother took offense to this, claiming Beel was disobeying and rebelling against God's plan. Beel was very distraught. They were assigned to watch over Hell, which is actually more of a "cleaning" stop for souls, to remove them from God's sight as basically an exile. (Also Heaven and Hell are more of a recycling center now for souls to be reincarnated in a new body. Souls go to Hell if they are currently "unclean" or "unworthy of reincarnation." They go through "repentence," and eventually are sent to Heaven to wait for their reincarnation. Heaven is essentially a waiting area now. God hasn't made any new souls in a long time in order to control the human population.)

Beel is quite close with their brother, Gabriel. Far closer than most of the other angels.

Beel smokes cigarettes.
