Rannar

Rannar is a young man - 50 years old, about the  equivalent of a human 24 year old - with the characteristic dark gray skin and very light gray hair of the drow. Due to his sensitivity to sunlight, bias among some people against the drow, and a general desire  to appear mysterious and intriguing, Rannar tends to wear long clothing, gloves, and a face veil. Despite his face being covered he's somewhat vain and enjoys wearing jewelry, even if it's not visible.

Rannar is the son of two drow who escaped from the underdark before  his birth, and was raised in a home deep in the forest, far from any major towns, and isn't used to society, but wants to uphold the social construct as a member of society by doing good. The problem is just in defining goodness. If you make a good enough argument he'll be willing  to do all sorts of nonsense if he's convinced it's Good and Appropriate.

He was essentially kicked out of the nest by his parents with the  hope that he'd be able to live in a more well-adjusted society, and has since been travelling as a sorcerer, alone or with a party. He longs for closeness with his peers but fears rejection, which combined with his poor understanding of social cues can make him seem awkward and off-putting.
