Silvyr Dyck

DESCRIPTION:

A gorgeous elf, often dressed in white and silver. He has long hair that reaches his lower back, with some pieces up in intricate braids. He has pale blonde hair with matching thick eyelashes framing his eyes. He cares very much about his looks, and takes good care of his skin. He's very clean, and keeps everything nice and orderly at all times.

PERSONALITY:

Silvyr acts polite and put-together, but is actually quite sensitive and uptight. He hates being teased, but is an easy target for it.

BACKGROUND:

Silvyr was born to a family of elves, but when their city was destroyed, he was orphaned and found by an old druid. He was raised to become the next keeper of the grove, and lived there until he was plucked from his quiet life by an attack on his grove, and is now an adventurer. He formerly was a hermit, so he doesn't have a whole lot of social experience. He complains about being an adventurer, but really would never want to leave this life behind.

During one point of his life, he did have a lover; a half-elf merchant who he would buy supplies from. He was rather soft on the half-elf, and before long, the other boy made a move on him and they ended up involved romantically. They made things more official over the next few months, spending days on end with each other. They stayed together for around two years before things ended in disaster. The half-elf man was seeing another person, and as soon as Silvyr started to pick up on it, the half-elf suddenly became abusive and cruel. Silvyr confronted him, and they got into a fight. Things became violent and Silvyr used his magic to barricade his grove and keep it sealed up tight. He didn't eat for days, and stayed in bed in misery and heartbreak, rarely getting up to do anything. His plants began to wither and die, which only further frustrated and upset him. After several months, he finally got his life back together, but he's uncertain and fearful of any romantic advances.

• Silvyr's last name is pronounced in the dutch way, like "bike" with a d, but is frequently said by others as "dick". Due to this, he prefers if other people just don't know his last name, or he uses a false one.
