Fiacre

Estranged from his purpose after the passing of God, Fiacre disappeared from heaven into the fields and grasses of the prairie in an attempt to remain tethered to his divine function. Now he wanders pastures and meadows in search of stray cattle to guide home, occasionally coming upon lost travelers on his way. He passes relatively well as a human from a distance, but his proximity to beasts has left him with the soul of an animal; devoid of any nuance of human interaction, namely his lack of speech, countenance, or reciprocation of expression. While grateful for the help he gives them, this often leaves people uncomfortable with his presence, often describing the feeling as a "pit in the stomach".

This is a fan character for the comic Golden Hour on Tapas. In which angels, who act as complex functions of Heaven, are faced with their own existence after God has "died". Initially, they were just a design I did for fun but I got very attached. Because of this he doesn’t have too much of an established personality, other than being a hearty personification of the West. They are named for the Irish monk Saint Fiacre, patron of grasses and cultivated land.
