Formerly a loner, Thunderstar traveled long and far from her old Twoleg
shelter until she reached the rocky shores of KaleClan territory.
Initially surprised to find out any cat lived on the beach like this,
she agreed to join, but insisted on keeping her Twoleg name, Cracker.
Sometime in Greenleaf, a harsh storm kicked in across KaleClan territory;
the harsh wind felled a large palm tree that bordered the Clan, right in
the path of Milkpaw and the kits they had been babysitting; Cracker
leapt into action to intercept, narrowly saving the lives of her Clanmates.
In honor of her bravery, and of Cracker finally finding her place within
KaleClan, Flickerstar accepts Cracker's request of a name change, dubbing
her Thunderwhip in memory of the storm.
When KaleClan is struck by tragedy, their leader and deputy killed in the
same border scuffle, the eldest cat in the Clan -- medicine cat Mousetail --
elects Thunderwhip as their next leader, on account of her emotional
intelligence and care for every cat within the Clan. She is forced to accept
at a very young age, electing the even-younger Algaeblotch as deputy.
She is the current leader of KaleClan, and is in a polyamorous relationship
with Lowbrook, Algaeblotch, and Amberpelt.
