Helene Lullaby is a very shy and quiet introvert who tends to stay inside her house most of the time where she would quietly play a song with her harp, but she often gets dragged (not literally) out of her house by the other neighbours (Mostly by Julie), she also tends to come out of her house if there’s any shenanigans going on with the other neighbours. She does enjoy hanging out with the others, she’s just very quiet and often keeps to herself, but she does speak up if anybody is talking to her directly, as she has very low confidence in herself, even feeling extremely shy about singing in front of others, but that changes when she’s alone and behind closed doors.
Important Notes
- She used to stutter quite a lot, but does her best to keep her stuttering to a minimal amount in order not to bother the others.
- She’s 6 inches taller than Wally.
- She has a habit of staying up late throughout the night, so there may be small signs of her being more tired than a regular person would be, but she’s not really bothered by it.
- She often bakes beignets for herself, but she does like to share them with others.
- She owns a harp and often likes to play it while she’s in her house, it’s very relaxing to her.
Backstory

She gets along really well with Barnaby, she enjoys the jokes he tells as they get a good laugh out of her, she might even crack a little joke or two, and they occasionally hang out together when they get the chance.
Even though Helene and Charlotte don't live together since Helene's sister still lives where they both grew up, Charlotte always makes sure to visit Helene when she gets the chance, as they both care a lot about each other.
She doesn’t see him much, as he’s busy working or that he spends most of his time with Frank. She acknowledges how clumsy and forgetful Eddie is, but she doesn’t mind it, even sometimes helping him out.
She and Frank don’t exactly interact much, but they do get along very well, Frank would often ramble about random things and Helene would listen to him, she gets to be quiet without worrying about being unintentionally rude and Frank can get whatever it was off his chest, so win-win for them.
In her opinion, she doesn’t know what to think about Home, it seemed friendly to her, but the way it speaks does spook her quite a bit at times, sometimes even thinking the sudden noises Home makes when she’s around are on purpose to joke around a bit.
Helene comes by to the shop often to get some ingredients for her beignets, so her and Howdy developed a good friendship over the times she comes over to get the ingredients, making small talk about anything that comes to their minds.
She’s pretty good friends with Julie, as Julie actively gets Helene out of the house to play with her or to get her to hang out with the others to help continue to boost Helene’s confidence, but she also makes sure that Helene is still comfortable.
Helene and Poppy have a kind of mother and daughter kind of friendship, Poppy is like the mom friend in the neighbourhood, and she often checks on Helene when Helene is quiet as the other neighbours are having a conversation, just to reassure Helene that she isn’t being left out.
Helene and Roddy are best friends, they very often talk about their crushes with each other (Roddy's crush being Howdy and Helene's crush being Wally) or just about anything they have going on the day, Helene likes to listen to Roddy gushing about Howdy, she found it very cute and hopes that him and Howdy can get together. like Julie, Sally and Helene are pretty good friends, despite their contracting personalities. Sally does make sure she doesn’t go too far to make sure Helene is still comfortable, while also trying to help with her confidence.
Helene couldn’t help but develop a crush on him, she was very much charmed by the puppet’s friendly nature, her feelings for him developed after the several times they occasionally hang out together, he was actually the first neighbour to hear her singing, since he heard her as he was walking by her house.
