Profile
gentle . positive . cheerful
She's a good-mannered, cheerful cat who likes to give other cats gifts and exhange kind words to make everyone's day better. She's a good friend and you can trust her; she cheers friendship and honesty above all, making her a wonderful cat to have by your side.
Her most precious trait is probably the joy that she shares everyday with those around her. Her energy comes mostly from being around other cats, as she would never live solitary or far away from those she loves.
She might come off as superficial sometimes for her super active personality and her chatty character, but deep down she's more sensitive than it looks and there's much gentleness in her gestures, if you care to notice them. For example, she expressed the care for her clanmates by bringing them prey and ensuring they are doing fine from time to time. She uses especially to check often on the the elders.
curious . lighthearted . observant
Oh, she loves exploring! Being always confined in a den is boring, so she always finds excuses to walk around the clearing and observe every inch of it; each tiny discover is an incredible adventure to her! A nest of birds, a red butterfly, a new flower or an insect hole... Everything is precious and worthy of seeing.
Again, Quail is not as superficial as it might seem when you see her running all around camp in excitement for the silliest thing. She's adventurous, but also knows when to slow down and observe things with calm. The flight of a butterfly, a particular flower or an ant colony are never boring experiences.
stubborn . impatient . jealous
She loves a lot, but that love can sometimes become possessive. She gets easily jealous with her father when he gives attention to her siblings or other kits, and that's maybe one of her biggest flaws. She's also quite impatient when it comes to waiting for something that's outside of her control.
Her determination can sometimes become a flaw when it transforms into stubborness, especially because she has good self-confidence and won't let anyone push her into the wrong choices.
Kithood. . .
This little kitty was found by Snowleap one day, wandering around Hawkclan borders without mother or siblings. Had she gotten lost? What had happened to her mother? The Hawkclan warrior never found out, but immediately decided to take the kit to the clan and take care of her.
Her first meal was, ironically, a quail. The kit showed not only a good appetite for the bird, but particular interest and fun in playing with the little colorful feathers of the prey. From that day on, she used to collect feathers from birds and fill her nest of them to have it soft an colorful; that's why you'll often see her with a few feathers on her pelt. A couple of quail's always weaved in her long fur behind her ears.
Snowleap was a lovable, caring father. After his warrior duties, the tomcat always visited the nursery and took out the kit to play hide-and-seek or tag-you. She loved badger rides, too, especially when Snowleap jumped and Quailkit could pretend to be flying above the ground like a free bird.
