Liam

Liam is the kind of friend who'd do anything for his friend's wellbeing. He's never been good at making or keeping friends, so the few he's got mean the world to him. Liam is introverted; he loves his friends, but people in general really tend to piss him off if he's around anyone too long. This is one of the reasons why he's struggled to make friends in the past and only keeps a few close friends. Liam is very clingy with his few friends. He wants to be more independent than he is and to help them overcome their problems, but it always seems like they are the ones helping him in the end. All of the people in his life are much more talented than he is. He's very closed off with his emotions and thoughts; he never shares how he's feeling; but when he gets upset, he's easy enough to read, but most people don't get why he's been set off. 

After his father died, it was his brother's duty to raise Liam. But Liam loved his older brother to bits, and he was glad he got to spend so much time with him and follow after his footsteps. His older brother was his mentor in life. He looks up to him so much. His brother taught him everything he knows (except guitar. That's the one thing he learned on his own). Liam tries really hard to live up to his brother. He looks up to him a lot. He wants to be as charismatic as his bro. He doesn't really notice any of his flaw because of his idolization of him. 

Liam was never very good at taking care of his emotional health. He struggled with his father's death, and in school, he acted like a school bully until he got into playing the guitar (self taught) and meeting his best friend, Akio. Akio really changed his life. The two of them have been friends ever since. They're a bit of an unlikely pair, but they work. Liam loves to tease Akio because he's so sweet and clumsy. 

Liam tried to go to college, but he dropped out after his first year. It just wasn't his thing. He still lived close to the community college that Akio went to to be close to him though. He now works under his brother as a part-timer as a mechanic, and he is the lead guitarist of his experimental punk band with his friends that he's met through Akio's encouragement during his one year of college: Elliot and Lane.
