Born October 11th, 1982. Marcus was raised, for the most part, in Wildedale, Minnesota. His dad is out of the picture, and Marcus prefers it that way. His mother, Martina, does her best to keep everything afloat for her twin boys in his absence.

Marcus isn't particularly strong or smart, but he makes up for it by being wildly empathetic and thoughtful. He's well-liked by most of his classmates and is regarded as a generally friendly and well-meaning guy. He focuses so heavily on others, particularly his brother Roderick and other half Charlie, that he frequently puts himself as a disadvantage and takes on baggage he has no business shouldering.

Habits: Compulsively checking his teeth (they're still crooked, that one is still missing), shaving his upper lip (someday it will grow back darker), picking his nails.

Strengths: Marcus has far better emotional endurance and inner strength than anyone his age should be expected to have. He might not get spectacular grades, but his emotional intelligence is unmatched. Despite everything, he is a fountain of understanding and, ultimately, love for others. You wouldn't guess it from the way he talks, but he's ever the optimist.

Weaknesses: Marcus' biggest weakness is his complacency towards issues regarding his loved ones. His life would be much simpler if he would, for once, stand up for himself and say exactly what he means. It isn't that he's disingenuous or that he isn't honest; it's that he believes that his suffering is, generally, for the greater good of others. Don't tell Charlie you're in love with him; it will complicate everything, it's better off unsaid. Don't tell Charlie where your scar came from; it will cause a fight between him and Roderick. Don't blame Roderick for siding with your dad for so long; he can't help it, so it's not fair to judge him. Just shut up and take it if it will keep the peace.
