big fucking selkie.
(since we're following original arthurian lore here) sir lancelot's adoptive mommy. found him randomly when he formed and woke up way earlier than most puffs do, and was literally like a baby. like even younger than kirby i'm talking about a straight up infant. was sort of weirded out by this squealing blue thing but took him in and raised him. she cares about lancelot very much and they're pretty close even if its hard to tell.
she's not exactly mean but she's very cold, stern, and no-nonsense. would go as far as to say she's a bit of a priss (i mean do you see that luxurious coat and pearl combo). she's quite powerful and can be incredibly intimidating just based on her hard stare and temperament. she's sort of asocial merely by nature and she doesn't often interact with others besides when lancelot visits her or the other way around. doesn't have shame and rarely beats around the bush. she scolds lancelot quite often. he's incredibly knowledgeable about water dwelling + selkie living/tradition thanks to her.
named after the lady of the lake, og lancelot's adoptive mother. wanted to follow the water motif (idk man work with me here). honestly dont know if she'll follow the og lore 100% and be the one who gives sir arthur excalibur but i think that'd be sort of funny. sir arthur going to a lake and his best friend's mom pokes out the water and throws a sword at him telling him to fucking take the shit.
