Needlestrike was mentally and physically abused by her mother, Frostbite, who pushed her relentlessly in the name of “perfection.” She rose to the rank of deputy partly to satisfy her mother’s expectations — but also because she craved power and control. Yet being deputy was never enough. Knowing she would never have true authority unless she became leader, Needlestrike began plotting, willing to do whatever it took to seize the position. Her plan failed. Instead of killing the leader, she turned on her mother at the lake, shoving Frostbite beneath the surface and drowning her — and herself — in the struggle. In the Dark Forest, Needlestrike finished what she started, killing her mother for good. Determined to keep her influence and be remembered, she began training other cats in the shadows, shaping them to her will.
Personality.
She was Never intrested in anyone as much then spottedwhisker, she saw her as her own kit. Spottedwhisker and Needlestrike grew closer due to spottedpaw training in the darkforest, helping her through her tough times.

shes not to close to anyone in her clan due to her mother, but they still respect her.
The darkforest is the most closest to her then riverclan, respecting her like riverclan but they feeling more like family.
She never knew her father who was a loner, but she wished she could get to know him more.
LORE.
As A kit Needlekit was adored and loved by her mother, until it slowly started changing. She felt her mother grow cold hearted, pushing her to her success! Which lead her to needlepaw, She wished she could of stopped it moons ago.
Needlepaw trained under her mentor — who was also her mother — and grew into a capable warrior, eventually earning the rank of deputy. She proved to her mother that she could become everything she aspired to be. But Needlestrike did not follow the same path. Needlestrike’s plan had always been to kill the leader. That intention led her to the lake, where she found her mother standing at the water’s edge, staring coldly into the depths. Seizing her chance, Needlestrike leapt forward and shoved her into the water, dragging her down with her. In the struggle beneath the surface, both cats drowned together.
Needlestrike discovered her mother wandering the Dark Forest. Frostbite was bewildered, unable to understand why she hadn’t found her place in StarClan. Their reunion quickly turned tragic — Needlestrike struck a killing blow, making Frostbite’s fate painfully inevitable. With her mother gone, Needlestrike pressed onward through the shadows. There, she encountered an unfamiliar cat — later known as Hawk — who had been lost in the Dark Forest for moons, no longer able to remember his own name.
After enduring so much suffering at her mother’s claws, Needlestrike was haunted by nightmares of her abuse. She had never known her father, but she often wondered what terrible thing he must have done to stay away — or what her mother might have done to him. Now that she found herself in the Dark Forest, she clung to a fragile hope that he might be there too, wishing desperately that she could finally meet him.
Trivia.
- Needlestrike loved the darkness of the nighttime, travelling while the stars were out guiding her to where'd she go
- Her love for the ocean was huge! swimming, and diving in the water.
- She'd often find comfort being by her own, having no deputy duties.
- Needlestrike never found herself in a relationship or having a family of her own, she had sootcloud. but she never saw anything with them, just friends.
