Laeiyla Przybyszewska is a young girl with a peculiar obsession with anime. It often consumes her life, but luckily she is also very social. Most of the time, she will force her new friends into watching a few animes with her. But other than that, she is just like any other girl her age, aside from her social struggles related to autism. This never stopped her from experiencing life to the fullest.

Laeiyla tends to have a very overwhelming personality when she meets new people, as she is pretty loud and talks non-stop, but once she actually befriends you and gets to know you, she tends to slow down. For her, meeting new people is exciting, as she considers every person she meets a friend she hasn't made yet. Laeiyla tends to not think before speaking, which causes her to hurt a lot of people. It is very difficult for her to understand how others feel sadly, so she can be pretty unapologetic unless you actually sit her down and force her to understand. If she sees someone sad, though, she will make it her task of the day to make them happy.

Laeiyla was born as the second daughter to hippie-esque parents. They rejected the traditional naming conventions of names, as such she has a name with a very odd spelling. Her parents were also of the very firm believe that she and her sister Peregrina should be able to experience life on their own. For this reason, they did not live with too many constrictions and rules during their childhoods. That did change once Laeiyla was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and doctors told their parents to make more of an effort to integrate routines into Laeiylas life. While they did keep their peaceful views and raised both girls by these ideas, they did become a bit more strict on them, which helped Laeiyla and her stress levels in childhood.
Laeiyla, unlike her sister, went to elementary and middle school in her hometown of Allberg because her parents were worried about her being too stressed on public transport. She was prone to meltdowns because her needs weren't properly met, which did cause the occasional bullying. Luckily for her, Peregrina was not okay with that and tended to take care of it rather quickly. By the time she was ready for high school, she was moved to Nifabula Academy.
Once of her earliest signs of autism was her severe obsession with anime, which her sister ignited. Her parents did take to supporting that, though, and regularly bought her merchandise. Her sister always took her along to conventions and got her into cosplaying, which both helped her being able to tolerate more stimuli at once.
