Early Childhood

Born to Monnie and a male Ninetales she doesn't even remember, Millie was one of two in the litter, the other her sister Louise. Their mother had been a wild born shiny Vulpix that was caught by a human trainer, but while she did love her human, she missed the wild more and escaped. She met and fell in love with a nomad afterwards, their father, but he too loved his freedom more and left before the kits were even done nursing.

Millie's main playmate and partner was Louise, the other generally taking the lead with Millie preferring to follow. Early on they met another tiny Vulpix, Dove, and the whole family treated him like a member of the skulk. Monnie was always very loving and affectionate with her daughters, the pair hardly ever even noticing their lack of paternal figure. Due to her mother being a local legend, the only pokemon around to have gotten training from a human, Millie's life was full of praise and attention from everyone.

Pre-Adolescence

When not busy with minor lessons given by her mother, Millie spent most of her time living similarly to how she had when she was younger. Once she was old enough to read, Monnie noticed her attachment to books and learning, having read all of her mother's own collection multiple times. A common gift for her was a new book, rarely having the same topic as the last since it didn't really matter. After getting into trouble alongside Louise and going after the local Rat Gang, she defeated her first opponent and was allowed combat lessons.

Born in the spring, Millie experienced her first snow in odd circumstances. A traveling blizzard hit the region, shrouding the land in white, but luckily her and Louise encountered an Amaura fusion named Medusa. The fossil pokemon guided them to a cave for cover until the storm passed, and eventually they were gone with the blizzard. Later that season, she met a Spheal fusion, and became friends with the main performers of Splash Hills: Terranea, Dorothy, and Jujube.

Adolescence

Soon after puberty, Millie met her first puppy love. Percy was a Yanma fusion and inventor with a fascination for human technology. He was intelligent in a way she wasn't, and she found herself enamored with her (to the disgust of her sister.) When one of his inventions went berserk she was able to take care of it alongside Louise, and her affection dimmed to minor attraction. The situation helped her realize she was attracted to feminine leaning, smart individuals.

Millie made one of her first friends without Louise when she met the pariah of the town, Baron. While their parents were different, Millie's mother revered and Baron's father hated, they were both able to bond over being in their shadow. Reconnecting with Percy, Millie was able to procure a guitar for Baron, who played for the town in an attempt to be understood. While not perfect, things were better, and she felt lighter about her insecurity with Louise and Monnie.
