Jay 2012/Ris

2012 story     
Jay was bought by Splinter (aka Hamato Yoshi) along with the other 4 brothers. During Splinter's scuffle with the Krang, he dropped the tank the turtles were in, scattering them in the mutagen on the ground. Jay had slid the farthest away from the group and was therefore left behind. He mutated and grew up living on the streets and learned how to survive. During season 2 (or after Baxter is mutated) Jay found his way into Baxter's lab. Baxter wanted to dissect him but Shredder decided to train him to use him against the turtles 

~ Other info ~        
- very feral (but sweet once he knows you)      
- took refuge in an abandoned apartment      
- incredibly curious        
- has picked up some of the turtles' throwing stars (mainly cause they're ✨shiny✨)      
- couldn't speak full sentences for a while and only spoke in a few words and lots of chirps and clicks      - when he was training under Shredder, he took a liking to Karai (in a familial kind of way) seeing her as a kind of safe space and was always attached to her    
- very much a snuggler      
- 15 yrs old (looks the most like Mikey)
- used a tantō blade like Karai

ROTTMNT story     
Jay was just another turtle in the group that Baron Draxum planned to mutate. Jay was mutated first as a test run with regular human dna (in which it was successful and was placed into stasis) then the lab exploded, Lou Jitsu escaped with his boys and Jay's stasis tube was destroyed along with the lab. Jay lived in the lab until Draxum came back to salvage what he could. When he discovered Jay was alive he took the opportunity to use some of his blood to synthesize the ooze. Draxum never really payed Jay any mind except for blood samples so he basically learned to provide for himself (with the help of Huginn and Muninn) Jay learned the mystic arts and chemistry and is close to Donnie's level of smarts (in mystic stuff anyway lol)

~ Other info ~      
- red cheeked mud turtle    
- bickered with Donnie over tech vs mystic (but they eventually found common ground when Donnie got his ninpo)    
- 15 yrs old    
- uses a tantō blade but tends to use mystic powers most of the time (mystic power is wind)
