One of FlickerClan's three remaining warriors after the clan dispersed, Stoneclaw was a nervous and shy cat despite being the strongest fighter of the clan. She pined after Hawkstar for ages until the leader asked her out instead. She bonded greatly with her apprentice Petalsnow and was supportive of his decision to become a caretaker. When the clan was set to move territories, Hawkstar was expecting their second litter which they planned to raise on the new island. Stoneclaw never got to see them as she died en route alongside her older child Gingerblaze and Petalsnow's little sister Creampaw.
