Krypto

Krypto is a blacksmith apprentice currently learning from Oren who lives in the remote village of Darvayle. 

Krypto is Keira's older brother, who was separated from her when their family was attacked by a pack of nightwraiths while they were living in The Crags. Krypto was able to climb to escape, leaving Keira behind.  While running in the direction of Darvayle, Krypto was trailed by the Nightwraiths. Being too young to fly, in a final attempt to evade the nightwraiths Krypto risked jumping into a local river. Days later, Oren found him a good distance downstream and adopted him.

Later in the Rostnia storyline, Krypto is drafted into the North Rostnian Army as a blacksmith.
