PERSONALITY •••

It's tough to tell whether Sophie was born a natural nurturer or simply fell into it due to her family's history of doctors. Regardless, she came out a very kind-hearted person who looks out for others. You could argue she does it in a maternal way, or perhaps a big sister way for those that are closer in age. These are true, but they're such shining beams of her personality, you fail to realize what's truly going on.

She's incredibly secretive, and without realizing it, uses her position as a medic to keep others at arm's length. Though she considers many of the other privates and captains her friends, there's a thin barrier she keeps up between herself and them, keeping many parts of herself a secret and away from others. It's not to say she's harboring a dark side, as much as she's scared to let people know who Sophie, the person is- rather than just seeing her as Sophie, the medic. 

It will take somebody to shake her within to get her to try to drop the facade she didn't realize she created, which will reveal a rather bumbling, embarrassed girl. Though it does reveal another part of her. Surprisingly, she'll pursue somebody if she really wants to be in their lives rather than playing the waiting game and hoping the other will notice her. She's afraid to say things directly, so she hopes her actions do the speaking for her. 

BIOGRAPHY •••

Sophie's family are well known doctors and nurses in their home of Gamma III. From what she's been told, the medical field runs strong and deep in the family, even being a prevalent skill before the near-apocalyptic tragedy happened. Her mother and father are a doctor and nurse respectively, both being the siblings that did not have to join the Resistance. The two had two daughters, Sophie being the eldest one. Their parents, knowing one of the girls would be forced into the draft, decided to keep the medical knowledge strong within the two and get them a safer job as a Medic.

Though Sophie and her younger sister both displayed incredible knowledge in the subject, Sophie showed she was more skilled in quick thinking and judgment- a skill that could save many lives on the battlefield. Thus, it was decided Sophie would go to the Resistance. Already coming with tons of medical knowledge, it was easy enough to put her through self defense courses and assign her quickly. 

Currently, she is a Medic. She's unsure if she desires to be promoted to the next class and go towards the Research unit, or if she hopes to just hit a point she can quit. She has been in Ezra's team for a quite a while, and she's a welcome addition. 

NOTABLE RELATIONSHIPS •••

• Alice Hart:  
• Sven Fischer: Former captain to Alice and Ezra, who comes around often enough that Sophie noticed- and slowly fell- for him. Though she knows his reputation, she can't help but be charmed by him. Whether she realizes it or not, she tries to make her feelings obvious, while not being direct about them. Sven, in his typical fashion, just loves a good chat and readily talks with her. It becomes apparent between both how she feels, which leads down a slippery slope that Sophie isn't quite ready for- a sad fact when you realize none of it being Sven's fault. 
• Trevor Stewart: A decently new Medic, assigned to Alice's team. Sophie goes out of her way to make him feel accommodated and teach him how to apply his medical knowledge on humans rather than animals. She thinks of him as a little brother type, which is easy considering he's not even 18 yet and still rather baby faced. Since their teams are closely linked to one another, she learns to rely on him a bit, and as the story darkens, it becomes unwilling but necessary she leans on him for help. 

HOBBIES, QUIRKS, INP FOR POSES •••

• Sophie is modest and maintains her clean, medic image in all cases; even on days off. She has a very classic "girl next door" vibe to her.
