Maere

Maere is a bubbly and mischievous demon said to embody the concept of Nightmares. Lucifer created them shortly after his fall from Heaven as part of his quest for free will. Maere serves as a tool for the Sins to torment other demons. Their true form has been described in human literature for centuries. It appears to change depending on how one interprets it. Maere is sweet and sadistic and makes it their life's purpose to break demons down psychologically.
