Abilities

Jizou possesses immense control over the area of nature he resides in, as well as a decent amount outside of it. The farther the area is from the forest, the weaker Jizou's power will become. Being a delusion, Jizou possesses enhanced strength, speed, and durability. He uses this strength to swing his oversized Sickle and Chain with precision and ease. Jizou is fluent in nature-based magic, even more so than Dalema. This often translates to medical-use spells.

Profile

Jizou Bodhisattva- The delusion of control. Bring something fun if you plan on meeting him- after 1985.

A delusion many past millennia have confused for a forest sprite--most commonly, Kodama.

The 3rd oldest of the delusions, Jizou inhabits the 7-Springs-8-Flowers Forest: a mystical growth of life which holds springs of godly divine power-imbued by Jizou. Here, he spends his time tending to the flora and fauna alike with his giant Sickle and Weight.

Jizou cannot leave this area often, so he rents out the medical springs in return for gadgets, clothes, and memorabilia from the constantly-changing world. However, due to his permanent Child-like state, the gifts he receives are often gags in the form of overbearingly cheesy, oversized T-shirts.

Jizou inhabits an infinite. homey villa in the middle of the forest. There, he possesses quite a collection of trinkets throughout the ages. Unsurprisingly, his favorite things to collect are Jizo Statues.

Do not take his encumbrance as weakness. if any trespasser seeks to defile or take the nature of his forest, Jizou will ensure that either his sickle cuts them down, or the elements will.

Jizou was actually the first delusion to discover Mimolai wandering around shortly after she breached the mortal plane, who sees him as a father figure. In terms of other relationships, he remains very wary of Kunshu due to an event that happened in the heart of Edo-era Japan. Jizou refuses to recant the details out of fear, but what is known involves Jizou's grove being emptied, a drinking party gone wrong, and the land of Hokkaido nearly being obliterated by Dalema and Calypso.

...of course, his name isn't just for show. There is a reason why Jizou Bodhisattva was known as the Illuminator of Hell.

His forest holds powers generous and without bargain. Misuse these gifts, and be met with a cycle of sin endless.
