Lykos
Overview
Lykos is a Lobotomy Corporation employee, working as part of the Disciplinary Team. They are very enthusiastic about their job, often mentioning how lucky they are to have been chosen for it. Unfortunately, this sentiment isn’t usually shared with anyone in the Welfare team who has to deal with them often getting injured due to their reckless behavior.
Regardless, Lykos is still somewhat of a competent agent, and can usually complete their job relatively quickly every time. Not only that, but as much as their fighting style makes them a bit of a wildcard, they have courage to spare, even going as far as being willing to suppress Alephs.
There’s also a certain rumor in the facility that Lykos is currently dating an employee from the Welfare team…

Lykos has one main quirk that everyone in the facility is (unfortunately) aware of: they love fighting abnormalities. It doesn’t matter if they are stronger than them, and how dangerous it might be: they never back down from the chance to try and suppress any of them breaching. They seem to be especially fond of fighting the Big and Will Be Bad Wolf, which is the main reason for them sporting the Cobalt Scar E.G.O Equipement. The only exception of this is Punishing bird, whom they consider “cute”, as it reminds them of someone.
Their recklessness is also the main cause of their constant injuries, and the reason they have been sent to the Welfare team to get checked multiple times. This hasn’t stopped them from being perfectly capable of completing their jobs, however, and they are still a relatively useful asset for the Disciplinary Team.
Lykos is very direct when speaking. They will say what they think without worrying too much about the consequences or the possible reactions of others around them. This isn’t to say they usually mean harm with what they say, quite the opposite.
Sometimes Lykos may come across as a relatively simple person with their way of speech. While that isn’t too far from the truth, commenting on it will usually anger them pretty quickly.
Just like with anything else they do, Lykos is very outspoken when it comes to affection, and it’s especially true when they are dating someone.
Once they started dating a certain someone, the both of them decided to keep their relationship a secret, but that didn’t last long: after being confronted by their respective team’s Sephirah about their unusual behavior (including, but not limited to, spending a little too long in a some containment unit together), Lykos was the first one to tell the truth right away.
Trivia
- They are very good at Instinct and Repression work, very bad at Attachment work, and ok at Insight work.
- They're gullible and relatively easy to trick. At some point Nothing There mimicked another employee and escaped, and they had no idea what was happening.
- They get really excited when Big and Will Be Bad Wolf escapes because they like fighting it. They have been scolded multiple times regarding this.
- They can somewhat go along with Little Red Riding Hooded Mercenary and have fought side to side multiple times, however, after suppressing the rogue abnormality they were fighting, they started attacking each other right away.
- While they aren’t afraid of the abnormality itself, they showed a strong reaction when it was suggested that people close to them should work with Plague Doctor.
- They have been banned from using long ranged weapons as they tend to stand right next to the abnormalities when using one.

Design notes
- Always wearing a Cobalt Scar Suit when working, but can be drawn in casual clothes too.
- Can be drawn without the Cobalt Scar Weapon.
- While not technically part of the EGO, you can add a little wolf tail to the suit if you so choose, as a treat.
- The scars are mandatory.
- They have a small fang that isn't visible unless they are smiling.
- If you draw them with ???, I'll be forever thankful.

Childhood

Lykos was born in the Backstreets of District 22, where they had a relatively average childhood. They displayed their tendency to get into fights very young, and picked up makeshift weapons relatively quickly.
When they were 11 years old, Lykos received a pair of gauntlets from their grandfather, which quickly became their weapon of choice up until joining the Shi Association, where they had to pick up daggers instead.
Shi Association
- They decided to join the Shi Association after their grandfather’s suggestion
- Initially, everyone was a bit skeptical about their ability to get any fixer job done
- Rivarly with any long range weapon wielder, especially ???
Lykos’ grandfather used to be a Shi Association fixer back when he was younger, and he only retired after an accident that left him without his right leg. He always reminisced about the time he spent as a fixer, however, so it was only natural that when Lykos grew up, he suggested they take that same path. Stealth and covert operations had never been Lykos’ strongest suit, and most of their family except their grandfather had some doubts about their ability to actually be part of the Shi Association. Still, they managed to get the position and became a 5 Grade Fixer.
As expected, Lykos had unconventional ways to get jobs done, especially when they started out, but luckily their ability to adapt to new combat opportunities ended up mitigating this. This is also where they picked up daggers as their weapon of choice. Their preference for short range combat was the main cause of a specific rivalry with ???, another fixer from the same association. The two, having drastically different fighting styles, would oftentimes steal each other’s kill on purpose, just to prove that their way of working was superior
