Design Notes:

• Based on a Grey Catbird
• FAT BABY
• Smol, rounded songbird wings ("elliptical" in this ref)
• Blueberry leaf antennae
• Chest/tummy, chin, inner ears, and ventral (inside) flight feathers are lighter grey than the rest of them
• Front left and back right paw are raspberry red like their tongue
• Front right and back left paw are blackberry blue-violet like their nose

Character Notes:

• They were adopted -- their parents found them screaming in a berry bush as a tiny kitten and couldn't find their original parents, so they absorbed Bali into their own family.
• They mostly communicate by either mimicking things others have said recently or screaming "BERRY!!!" at the top of their tiny little lungs until they get what they want (which is usually... berries).
• If you ignore them, they'll just keep getting louder until you stop ignoring them. So it's best to respond to them right away for the sake of your eardrums.
• They're a toddler, not a botanist, so when they ask for berries they probably mean things like blackberries and strawberries, not pumpkins and tomatoes.
• Two of their parents studied biology, though, so they've received enough "what is a berry" infodumps to have figured out that bananas are berries! They're very excited about this. Please give them bananas.
• They like to try and "cook" "meals" but they're like 3 years old so the results are rarely appetizing.
• They're starting to learn to fly, and they are... not great at it.
