A wandering, proud stray with a very earnest but misguided love for elegance. Openly boastful, Wol-ya is often caught in his own short-sighted vision, trying to sell more composure than he actually possesses. He is fixated on appearing noble despite incredibly modest roots, living all by himself well out of sight of the public. This secrecy, as well as the non-descript composition he'll hold himself to, help obscure his actual occupation as an assassin, himself preferring that people percieve him as elegant, intriguing, but harmless for what he considers a well-grounded work-life balance in his little abode.

Even though he attempts to keep that sort of separate idea of himself to his homestown, Wol-ya has a single family member, his brother, who is a thousand times more humble and loves him even despite that loner lifestyle he chose. They see one another rather frequently, and Wol-ya struggles to keep up his demeanor around his brother, who ends up mothering him for how much he'll worry about his sibling's choice of isolation.

It isn't often Wol-ya makes himself known to others, considering it's only complicated things in the past. He has found the assumptions people make with his features offputting, so more often than not, he'll treat others with that distanced kindness he's used to. He is eager to get comfortable, however, exciteable despite his knowing-better, and is quick to warm up to others if they offer any mite of understanding or lack in any bias.

Wol-ya cannot distinguish different colors in the slightest. He has specifically had his brother aid in keeping his wardobe rather muted in color for this exact reason, feeling most comfortable in his isolation when he thinks he won't stick out, while also looking regal to himself.

Wol-ya lived a warm, modest lifestyle with his parents and his brother, Joe, his family preferring to live in relative isolation for reasons he would not discover for a long while. His mother and father loved both of them dearly, though his father was more often than not absent for his career. His mother was always with them, though Wol-ya prided himself on his own independence at a young age, opting to be the one to take care of him and his sibling the most as soon as he came into their lives at 8 years old. The whole family had a system that seemed to work just fine among all of them, with their mother having plenty of time to build some neighborly connections in town, and their father not having to worry about a single thing while he was away, until one evening where his father didn't returned home at his promised time.

In what Wol-ya thought was just some rough bout of anxiety, he would stick by his mother's side to offer more support than usual, taking care of both his brother and the homestead while she left the house less and less, seeming too desolate to operate as usual. While Wol-ya recalls this time as one of deep anxiety, Joe would only remember his time period as one where his mother spent entire months saying goodbye to them.
