This is where they're explained!

*Face Plate

The Face Plate is something all Krezzians have in the area where their nose would be!
They come in all shapes and sizes and are very diverse. Some even protrude off the face, almost like a horn! Underneath the face plates, Krezzians faces are flat or curved.
They evolved to have these plates as a form of protection, as they come from a very violent background where face protection was needed.
The Face plates are made of a highly dense, near-indestructible natural material that is slightly soft when they're born, but harden as they get older! Think of it as the soft spot on a newborn baby's head.
These Face Plates can be chipped! Many people get their cracks and chips filled with valuable metal or crystals. It is seen by most that they've honored their people in war.

*Opercula

Opercula are things that "cover an opening or gap"!
They were given this name because they are protrusions that protect the gill-like crevices which Krezzians hear and breath out of!
Like their Face Plates, Opercula come in all shapes and sizes; however, ALL krezzians have at least TWO on EACH SIDE of their heads! No less.

*Cavity

Krezzians are a species that—despite their many, many technological advances—are very connected with nature. In turn, the cavities in their chest usually hold a native plant of some sort.
These plants don't just have to be native though! Many Krezzians hold a plant that holds significance to them. Maybe the plant they saw right after their first kiss, or the one they associate with a lost loved one.
They don't even have to hold a plant!
Although its far less common, Krezzians can also hold inanimate objects in their cavities! A rock, a crystal, a fork, an eraser, etc...
Other living things besides plants and fungi are limited to staff, PA, and GA adopts, along with the other ethereal traits!

*Non-Insectoid Tail

This does not mean an object tail! That's an entirely different trait!
What we mean by this is a tail like the current species mascot, Forrest, who's tail is long and fluffy at the end. Anything that doesnt look like a bug! maybe a fish-like tail, something small and fluffy like a bear's or a bunny's! But NOT an object tail!
