Profile

During your plains exploration, you spot something concerning: a path of withered flowers covered in black and red goop, another thing that would give Fleur a heart attack if she were still around to see the condition of the plains.
You decide to investigate to save Fleur's soul from evaporating.

The long path of dead flowers leads you to a small, apricot-colored cat covered in flowers. The cat's response time is way off; when you approach them from behind and tap their shoulder, they remain completely still for at least five seconds before jumping. Thick, gooey globs of void juice are freely pooling out of their eyes, insides, and tail mouth.

The cat quickly apologizes for the mess they've made; they can't control it, and they felt really bad for hurting the flowers. Whenever a flower dies, they get the worst headache in the world, and they really didn't mean to do anything bad, so please don't wrap them up in a vine cocoon.

Where did that last part come from?
You assure the cat that it's fine, but maybe they should walk in places with fewer flowers so fewer of them die. The cat nods, returning to the activity they were doing before, which was talking to flowers. It seems like just about every Bloody Blooms cat does that. What's up with that?

And the Melting Void Mutation!

Amelia has settled quite nicely into the colony after joining. She absolutely loves being on the exploration team and fancies being able to see new places. She is the mother of four kittens, whom she had with Fleur. She gives her best into parenting even when she's busy finding and recruiting new cosmo felines. Her mutations make it difficult for her to communicate, the combination of the flowers and gunk competing to flow out of her mouth often times suffocating her until she can seek medical attention.
