Limbo's arrival in Hell was their apocalyptic nightmare. In an effort to figure out why they were damned, they stumble across the Happy Hotel. Or... well... The Hazbin Hotel. As part of their effort to change their judgment, Limbo becomes the hotel's next patron and employee (by pleading with Charlie on their behalf in an effort to 'pay her back'). It is only over time that they are able to find comfort in the other residents and even the hotel owners, especially Alastor.
Currently, they are trying to find their footing as Hell's recent resident. Tripping up here and there isn't as bad with their newly found friends.
Maybe Hell could be a new beginning for them.

design notes
- Their hair is in three parts: Bangs, middle section, & ponytail. The ponytail is absolutely necessary unless if they're in a specific outfit that calls for their hair down!
- Their nose is always going to be a small black button despite art style!! For a character with the same nose type, reference Charlie Morningstar.
- They have scars. They're from their living life from burns or cat scratches and are HIGHLY preferred in fanart but aren't mandatory in case of it being triggering. (Two scars on left arm, no scars on right arm, one scar across neck, no scars on body, no scars on left leg, two scars on right leg.)
- YOU DON'T HAVE TO DRAW THE SHIRT DECAL!! Go to their gallery where I made a transparent decal for their shirt! It's specific because the design is older Hazbin but the key is newer. Feel free to use the decal I made instead of drawing one if you don't want to.

Regarding their Hazbin iteration, Limbo is anxiety-incarnate.
It's Hell for a reason and it terrifies them. Seeing death, sex, drugs, and fighting on each corner is very visually painful to Limbo. At first, they're absolutely terrified of everything and everyone; This causes them to seek sanctuary within the Happy Hotel due to its focus on redemption. Overtime, they get used to life in Hell and slowly start to be more blunt, more sure of themselves. They only begin improving and being comfortable due to the hotel's crew.
It's a steady climb, but they eventually find their usefulness within the hotel and their camaraderie with its residents.
personality
In short: Both are each other's entertainment. Alastor finds their innocence, wings (LATER), and personality entertaining. Limbo finds his nostalgia and unorthodox methods interesting.
Charlie helped Limbo get on their feet and still helps on and off again. Limbo looks up to her dedication and will support Charlie no matter what. Charlie appreciates the help sincerely.
