Kithood

Starlight was born inside the Guild walls as an only child to two cats that are part of the Guild; one mother a Daylight Warrior named Flurrychaser in the Support Branch, and the other mother a full-time Guild member named Emerald in the Combat Branch. After several days of thinking about names, they decided on a name Flurrychaser picked out: Starlight, as when she opened her eyes they looked like stars. As Flurrychaser was very busy with both Clan and Guild duties, Starlight mostly hung out, talked, and played with Emerald in the daycare whenever Emerald was free. They’ve had chances to bond with Flurrychaser at times, though briefly. She never had many friends throughout her kithood.

Learner

Starlight has always been interested in each Branch of the Guild from the stories that their mothers had told them and watching the other Guild members interact with each other, and she'd explored all four branches of the Guild (though not so much with a taste for Combat...). Starlight has always had a thirst for knowledge and between the Mage Branch and Support Branch, at the age of 7 moons, she ended up choosing to be part of the Mage Branch. It was clear that when Starlight told her parents about her choice, they were both disappointed as she hadn’t picked a Branch that they both were in, but they didn’t judge her for it. Flurrychaser gave Starlight a jar of fireflies as a congratulations gift for her choosing the Branch she wanted, and Emerald gave Starlight a necklace of pebbles and a carved star from a cat’s paw shell. Both parents gave her some starting Vyrros to start out with, and from there on she became a Cadet in the Mage Branch.
