Vex is a personified void and an amalgemation of the world's anger and hatered. Despite being made up of negativity Vex does not show it.

Vex didn't have a choice in coming into existance, he constantly says if he could he would have made it so he never came into existance. He find that humans often use his existance as an excuse. Being the personification of many hateful negative emotions man people seem to think he is the perfect scapegoat. An excuse for thier actions.
II.
Vex was 'born' into this world as a small child, and everyone knew why he existed. Therfore he has been subjected to the darkness of humanity. His existance meant more negative emotions would exist, but those new ones were directed at him. He had to grow up on his own and find his own way to survive and live. The crulity of humanity that was shown to him is the reason he turns his back upon them and allows their negative emotions to fester. Despite having the power to absorb humans negative emotions after being the victim to such crulety he will never use it.

Vinnie sure is one sick bastard, but damn is he fun to hand around. Honestly kind of a riot. I won't lie, he represents the uggliest parts of humanity, but damn he knows how to party.
