Leshy (Ochre)

Long ago!! Humans settled into new areas and began to take down forests for resources. The local wildlife was home to many cryptids, a few of which seem to be Leshy's. They were forest protectors, guardians of nature and animals around them, so when the humans arrived... the Leshy's started to play tricks on them. Both sides of the 'battle' were furious, humans angry that they kept getting quite literally trolled too hard, and the Leshy's angry that the humans kept destroying all the habitat about them. Both parties also refused to give up... Our Leshy (Mother Leshy) who im just gonna call... uuhh, Ochre, to make things easier, was also one of the bunch of tricksters. But through some cool like idk, self-reflection and 'looking at the bigger picture' she thought that it would be best to try and sort things out with the humans and come to a peaceful resolution. The other Leshy's, humans,and other cryptid creatures refused to listen to her ideas, and eventually, her kind would go pretty much extinct (atleast where she lived anyhow). Besides the Leshy's another group of cryptids known as Werewolves were also involved in the battle, except they never went extinct. Due to them being able to have human disguises, they were mostly free from harm as long as their secret was never found out. So just like the others, the Werewolves also refused to give up their trickery. One of these Werewolves happened to be Ochre's best friend. Ochre pleaded for her friend to join her as she made her escape, but her friend denied, afraid of what the other werewolves would think of her. Her friend was very reminiscent of Lupine, both afraid of being judged by their own kind. The only difference is that Lupine was able to become strong enough to realize that he would be able to be free without them. This is why Ochre has such a strong connection to Lupine, she sees alot of herself, and her old friend within him.
