When he was human, Morph lived as a conman. He would date women, get them to fall in love with him, and then completely drain all their assets before leaving them. He would go town to town extorting people for money. After getting his name in the paper, Blight saw the potential in him. He turned him into a butterfly demon, and as a result, causing Morph to fall head over heels for him. Like a butterfly to a flower, Morph is forever toiling with an unrequited love for Blight, serving him as his assistant.
