Lobster people's Comments

So my girlfriend is obsessed with lobsters, loves them more than almost anything. And I'm obsessed with strange aquatic creatures and world-building and making my girlfriend happy. So I would love the opportunity to use these guys as a centerpiece to craft a world around.

I figure I'd position them as (one of?) the main species of intelligent life on the ocean planet they inhabit. I'd develop their society, try to figure out how they think and feel and move and communicate, and sort of work backwards from there to develop their surroundings.

I can't draw, but I would write about these creatures. Ooh, I'd love to give them their own ancient legends and superstitions and develop religions that some of them follow! As well as write stories about notable individuals or events.

Eventually my girlfriend and I might develop, like, sonas of this species? And sort of roleplay stories together. (In text, and in a totally SFW way.) I plan to share all the species lore and stuff online, but in some small way it could be like a world just for the two of us.

I know this all sounds vague at the moment, I'm just very excited and I'll update with more details when I figure them out!

Bird-brained

I would love to use this race! As an avid writer--and roleplayer--I would definitely put this into play as a race of beasts for one of my future stories. Perhaps they could be tied into the storyline as the protagonist stumbles upon them when exploring the depths; perhaps they could be a curse? The story has the possibility to even revolve around a lobster-person protagonist. The possibilities are endless!
