Tax is the son of his mother's second marriage, after she got deeply scarred and hurt by the tragic death of her first husband. she tried her best, but actually ended up using Tax's dad more like a compensation price than an actual person she loved and cared about, this also bleed into Tax's relationship with his brothers, Bailey and Theo, as their mother favored them due to being the results of her first marriage. When Tax was about 6, his father left.
He got very interested in medicine when he was a teenager, so he ended up being a nurse, things where going well until his various emotional and mental health problems got to him, he started to develop feelings for a lot of his patients, which ended up hurting him more in the run. Eventually, when he was about 27, and, after one pacient he was really fond on died, he tried to end his life, he survived, but a few weeks later he noticed he was feeling really sick and coughing blood, as he didn't wanted to damage his appearences, he resorted to a doctor friend of his, Aren, who discovered he was actually starting to rot, as if he was already dead.
He started to hand with a lot of people with medical and magical related problems, and he found out he was actually really good at helping others with similar conditions to his, thought he couldn't actually find a reason for his rotting problem. He started a radio show about the stories of people he helped.
