Crowned Cardinal is the President of the DewClaws Federation, a jewelry trading guild that is responsible for the trade of jewelry all across Pantala. Her keen eyes have proven her more than qualified for the position, and her sharp tongue and quick mind ensure that she keeps it.

She makes crowns/headpieces for dragons, sometimes incorporating interesting objects/treasures that she finds when she travels. She doesn't get to craft as often as she sometimes would like, but having the ability to bring dragons together and inspire them to keep jewelry crafting brings her great joy.

Dragons will often find that Cardinal shifts her head to the right, presenting her left ear. This is because of an attack on her home when she was younger. However, when speaking to other dragons, she will turn her head back forward. This is because she has found that dragons often listen better when she gives them direct eye contact when speaking to them. That, or they are afraid of her and do not want to be on her bad side.

Story

Cardinal has always been interested in sparkly things since she was a young Dew. Growing, she started to put a deeper focus on gems and valuing them. Learning to hone her eyes for all the key factors that make gems valuable.

Her family lived outside in the Pillars that sprung up in the Inflorescence, in one of the further pillars that bordered the DewWing territory. Life was quiet and quaint in her little home, and she was happily assigned a role that fit her keen eyes at her first gathering. After a few years of working with the well trained Jewelers and Glassworkers, CC caught the sound of chaos striking upon the territory. Even worse was rumor that it was her pillar that was being attacked.

Rushing back to her pillar there were dragons screaming and running and shouting and fighting all over. She scrambled through the carnage to try and find her parents when a pair of dragons came barreling toward her. With a sweep of an unseen tail, her head was slammed against rough stone and she blacked out.

She woke up in the healers den, the faces of her worried parents snapping to her slow movements. Her bandages on her head were removed, however a curious question piqued in her mind as she voiced, "Why can I not hear you in my left ear?"
