Intro
Kayda is the Noble Cat Lady. The last of her kind who watched over the Hi-No Tsuki Temple.She is also a part of the Un Moon-Hee who lived more than over millions of years in the mountains of ithil.The noble cat race is know to extinct. Shes known as the last of her noble cat but some rumors were going around that there are more, no one knows if these are true. She spent her time with taking care of the rituals and rutines, and hanging up furins for the past ancestors and the soul which pass by.Anyhow, as Kayda watched over the temple she got taken away with compulsion to be a pure sacrifice. Little did she know that this will seal a tight bond with the water god Korsu.

Kayda’s personality is more sweet and her character has a impulsive way on it’s own. She loves speaking as much as she loves listening, her behavoir changes from person to person, to trusted people she is more open and trusting to strangers shes more silent, she won’t speak with them or listen to them in any way. That’s why it’s hard to get her attention as a stranger, only if those awaken her interest shes willing to make a closer step..
Noble Cats tend to be clingy to the loving person, which means if they love someone they would walk through death for them. Kayda’s movements are soft and elegant and she’s never rushing. She also has never spoken anything bad or bad words left her lips. Her species is known for being magical in their own ways and expressing their feelings through their behavior, their tail and eyes are like mirrors of their mind. Not all cats have the same trait, only a few do own uncommon traits such as eye pupil changes during moods or changing appearance. Kayda’s hairs,ears and 4 tail turn white when shes confronted with a fight. Also, her eyes turn into heart shapes when shes in a loving mood for her only god Korsu.

♦ The Noble Cat Clan creation
The Clan was first created by the beautiful deity Cat Shimure also a Nekomata falling in love with one of the male Byakko Kama. Kama was a strong nine-tailed fox, he loved Shimures elegance and he would do everything to gain her love and trust. Both closed a bond together and Shimure got pregnant, her newborn had furry ears and three tails. Like this, the Familie got bigger and merged into a huge Clan called the Noble Cats. Those cats have ears with fur on the tips and inside of their ears, and the tails are usually three tails but those who are stronger have four tails. Their behavior tends to be similar to other noble cats but yet very different. Kama made sure that the Clan is safe and Shimure’s duty was to teach the cats in order to have a tight bond inside of the clan with no outsiders. Not even other Byakko or Nekomata could enter the Temple or the realm. It was also forbidden for the cats to leave without permission, Shimure knew that she has done something which was prohibited when she fell in love with Kama, and he also knew. But their love was stronger than the rules and the thought of not being with the one was hurting them. Soon the creators Shimure and Kama had to leave as spirits as the love of both was highly forbidden. Yet an old legend is told that Shimure and Kama are still living in the spirit realm at Ithil where only the Moon goddess itself can enter.
♦ Their Character
Noble Cats are sweet creatures, they love to dance Nihon buyō, and some love to sing softly on peaceful nights. Their character is also soft and their heart is pure. None of them is born evil or has any evil intentions. Noble Cats love to be intimate quite often but only with those they truly love. Their way of showing a certain mood is different, some of them purr or change their appearance and create a floral-smelling mist that surrounds the loved person. Also, the pupils turn into hearts or a different color.
♦ The Execution
Long after Shimure and Kama left the realms, a pure deity was born with four tails. As she was born the realm had a new Leader, her name was Mu-i. She was the one to take care of the Clan now. But she failed. Yokai entered the realms and took advantage of the noble cat’s love and affection by using them for their sexual needs. Some got taken away and those who tried to fight against the encounters died in a painful way. Even some just left the realm because they decided not to follow the ancient rules of the Noble Cats. It is told that some are still alive but hidden in the deep woods of Ithil and mountains in small temples where they can be safe. Only the Empress knows the truth and it shall be kept secret so the same tragedy won’t happen again. The few who stayed in the realm are those who serve the Deity Kayda who keeps the realm clean and honors her ancestors.

♦ Kayda
Mu-i got pregnant but she never told anyone, she was too scared the Yokai would kill her unborn. She gave birth to her in the hidden rooms of the temple. Kayda was born with four tails and big ears just like her mother. She was a deity. The joy was indescribable for Mu-i because she somehow knew that Kayda will undo the mistake she did. For years Mu-i took care of Kayda and taught her everything she knew. But Kayda grew up and wanted to leave the temple, she knew that the Yokai could find her but Kayda was old enough and she couldn’t stay longer hidden in the temple. Mu-i decided to finally go out and fight for the Clan, she has no need to keep Kayda safe in the temple anymore. Mu-i, later on, died when the clan got back to the realm and the Yokai left.
Kayda was now alone left with some of the Cats which were still alive after the fight. She took care of the Temple and the huge Garden. She decorated the Garden and the Temples with Furins which would keep the spirits of the fallen in the realm. The Garden was full of her creations of flowers and plants. The blood of the dead cats was absorbed by the ground and spider lilies grew on the places where once the bodies have lain. Kayda did everything to take care of the realm and bring back the peace. She also decided to open the Gates for everyone but with one rule, no one shall harm the realm with any bad intention.Kayda was on her own living a peaceful life with no worries.She was missing one thing...Love.
♦ Sacrifice of innocence
People began to sacrifice blood for the water god who sealed himself away in the fountains of the Himerya. Soon they believed that normal blood wasn’t enough to bring Korsu back. They knew there was pure innocent blood which was the only hope for them. But little they knew, that sacrificing a god for the other was a huge crime, and death was waiting for them. Some of the strongest visited the realm where the noble cat Kayda lives and tried to convince her that she was needed. But she didn’t agree. Yet they didn’t leave the temple. Kayda was forcefully taken out of her temple and bought to the fountain which was built for the water god Korsu. Those people who bought her there believed that her pure blood would bring back their worshipped god with wealth and mercy. Kaydas clothes were removed from her fragile body, she was only allowed to wear a silky dress. They then sliced her throat with a golden knife to make the final sacrifice. Her Blood dripped down into the water and changed good into evil, love into hate. At the same moment, a pressuring aura appeared and Korsu was holding the tiny fragile body in his arms, carrying something this fragile made him realize that she was the one he was looking for his whole life. To bring the noble cat back an exchange has happened, Korsu had to carry her sacrificed blood in his veins and his holy water in hers. Without him, she would die.
Kayda decided to stay on Korsu’s side forever, she got her immortality back. In time she fell in love with the Water god. He cared for her, he served her, he kept her safe and worshipped her, but before all that he loved her. He was always on her side and those who dared to take a glimpse of Kayda would find death immediately. She still took care of the realm for the other noble cats but she lived in Korsus temples. The other would keep the noble cat race going in secret but Kayda is the only born noble cat deity alive.
♦ Ithil/ Hosishamori Island
The Island Hosishamori was where the noble cat clan had their homes. It was an Island full of Cherry Blossom trees and all kind of flowers. It contains ponds with small white fishes because of the the innocence of the Island. Huge white torii gates led to the huge white temple in the middle of the Island, small waterfalls, and small streams. Hosishamori had it's own fragrance, it's described smelling like flowers and vanilia. A soft mist covers the Island which causes the refreshing smell. The many Onsen on the Island had healing effects and the noble cats used to bath in them. Pink Lanterns light up the Island to lead the ways through the trees.
♦ Su Tokka
Korsu brought Kayda to Su Tokka. It was his home and because of Korsu the Island grew again. She loved it since Kayda loves to study and discover more islands. Her life there was as noble as in her other home. The Huge Temple made her feel safe and she loved the rainy atmosphere. She also had the chance to finally meet Voule.
Korsu Tsujihara
Korsu is the one who saved Kayda. Since then she stays on his side. He takes care of her and keeps her safe. She knows that without him she won't be alive and her love for Korsu grew from time to time. She loves him and would never blame him for what happened.
Guraijin someone she likes and respects
Guraijin was the one who granted access into the forbidden libary. For Kayda this was a big opportunity to study more and read everything about the whole of Skyland and Ihtil. She kinda likes Guraijin because of her elegance and grace. Kayda sometimes even saw her as Idol for herself.
Momoe Mother
Momoe took care of Kayda after the tragedy happened in the realms. She often treated her as her own daughter. Kayda loved being on her side when she came to the realm and showing her the new things she learned gave her joy.
Isamu Father
Isamu was a father figure of her since Kayda didn't know who her real father was. Mu-i never really spoke of it and kayda didn't ask. Isamu was the husband of momoe and the god who was obssessed with his own beauty. Kayda loved him as much as she loves momoe because both were always there for her. He also was the one sealing Korsus and Kaydas bond togheter
Yugana Kohaido ♦ interest
Kayda read everything about Yuganas being and she loved the way shes described in the Books. As noble as Yugana's being is it's still full of misery and evil and that is whats fascinated her about Yugana. Kayda saw her once with her own eyes but she is sure Yugana doesn't even know that someone like Kayda is alive.
Kama the Byakko ♦ Ancestor
Kayda read everything about Kama and his origin. She would love to visit him by herself but it was forbidden for her and not granted to visit the holy spirit realm where they live now. Kama is like an unknown mystery to her and she is ready to discover more of his life.
Shimure the Nekomata ♦ Ancestor
Shimure is the wife of Kama a nekomata. She was the noble cat clan creator. Kayda has a huge interest in her since she knows that she is the mother of all noble cats but her rang is the lowest. Shimure is also living in the spirit realms where Kayda is not able to enter.
Voule ♦ interest
Since Kayda is living in Su Tokka she got to meet Voule. It was another experience than just reading the Book of her. Although they don't meet often Kayda gets exited to meet her and having a little chat.
