From an early age, Eve was exploited for the sake of human experiments in the service of creating superhumans. As a result, she has gained powers, but at the cost of its body.
It has been trying to manage it through wearing braces and supportive garments, but with every use, her powers cause her to put further strain on its already deteriorating health.
When this was discovered, it was decided that 5-VE, nickname Eve, was to be "discontinued". She had accepted this fate, but fate has a way of working in strange ways.
Instead of death, it was saved by Dina, a previous test subject and agent of the organisation. Eve does not understand why her life was spared.

Because of its flat affect, Eve is often perceived as entirely emotionless. To an extent, this is true. The numerous experiments has left what would have been Eve's personality in tatters. Part of her healing would be to re-discover what kind of person she really is.
She possesses a lot of self-loathing. Its only use as a person was her powers, which she is now entirely unable to use due to the intense drawbacks, robbing her of its only perceived strong suit.

Dina was the person who decided to take Eve out of the facility when she was going to die. Eve decides to stay with her, mostly because Dina's choice to save it confuses her, and she wants to know why.
The two are on the run together, getting out of dangerous chase situations by way of Dina's powers that she also gained from the experiments.
- Eve's body is rather weak, so it has to constantly wear supportive garments. This consists of a metal harness on her torso that helps with keeping her upper body straight. She also wears leg braces on both legs for similar reasons. At the moment she can still walk, but it might not be able to if she continues to use her powers.
- Her red eyes are a characteristic of the test subjects that were exposed to the human experiments. Eve's powers are especially strong, causing a huge strain on its body.
- Her clothing in general is more or less ballerina-themed (or perhaps even doll-themed) due to the ideas of the character. She also used to like ballet (but has forgotten this with trauma) but with plans to perhaps let it dance again.
