(Biomimicry Intelligence Organisation)
is an organisation founded on the belief of world safety. It is multipurpose, serving as an archive, research station and crime fighting organisation. It works outside of the government, but is large enough and serving a helpful enough purpose that nobody has bothered to take it down. It's quite secretive and it's fairly difficult to obtain info on it. It's a worldwide institution, and it has no particular focus in terms of location.
Sometimes it hosts investigations on crimes and the criminals committing them, but it isn't government supported, so a lot of the time it doesn't have the authority to do so. It is mostly in control of superhero/supervillain related incidents, and tends to do things in that department despite government's denial.
