Manticore

This breed of manticore is especially large and fluffy, much like a buffalo. They're bred for their soft fur and sometimes they're eaten as an exotic meat.

Manticores can come in many different colors, but all are especially soft. They also imprint on their caretakers and can sometimes show different form of affection when their human is nearby. They can become distressed if they're separated from their caretaker for very long. For this reason, many manticore ranchers refuse to buy or sell adult manticores, they prefer to work with younger manticores who haven't made a sturdy connection just yet.
