"WHATS HAPPENING"
The Scorching Storm of Salmon Warrior Zeta [or "Zed"] is an Octoling raised on Salmonid grounds not far from Splatsville. They're very strange, petulant, and a bit clueless in the context of social cues.
They now currently reside in Splatsville, learning new things about the culture every day. Though they have a general sense of distrust towards the residents due to Grizzco's influence over people's views on Salmonids.
Zed is a taller-than-average Octoling with sharp teeth as well as yellow scleras/orange irises mimicking Salmonid eyes. They have a lot of arm muscle from carrying heavy things like the Dynamo Roller, though it's not really apparent anywhere else on them [no abs or anything, literally JUST their arms]
They also have sharp claw-like hands with a gradient matching their ink color [which is usually either pink or dark green].
Zed is a very rowdy individual who revels in the idea of being a villain. Not in the actual idea of carrying out villainous acts, but rather giving the impression that they would. They like having the image of somebody you wouldn't want to cross. They're noisy, competitive, easy to anger if you beat them in enough matches, and not above biting people.
When they're on a winning streak, however, they let it get to their head mindblowingly quick. During anarchy matches they typically operate on a "kill anything that moves" mindset which can be both a benefit and a detriment to their teammates.
Their dumb huge roller and penchant for maniacally laughing at every opportunity makes them a poor choice for stealth on any team, but their knack for destruction can make them a safe bet on most other days if you just want them to clean the field for you.- C-Side's music

Zed was born in Octarian society under an unknown name, but quickly ended up in the hands of the Salmonids after getting stuck in a container of weapons that had been shipped to them from the Octarians. They thought Zed was funny as fuck, so they were raised as if they were a Salmonid themself.
Zed was raised on Salmonid grounds near the Splatlands, and not far from Splatsville. Overall, they had a pleasant childhood living with the Salmonids, and even began to adopt some of their physical features [noticeably in their eyes].
In order to swim in waters the same way Salmonids do, Zed would utilize a fish oil on their skin to prevent themself from dissolving as an Octoling otherwise would.
After Grizzco's presence began to be established, Zed moved to Splatsville in order to "enact revenge" in a cartoonishly villanous manner. They hold a grudge against Grizzco, but soon learn to appreciate the culture of Splatsville [especially for the food and music.] They remain in Splatsville in the present, but still visit their family back home on occasion.

- Zed needs glasses, but hates how the frames always feel on their face. so they can't see shit ever
- They talk in a very stilted manner. Their grammar isn't necessarily incorrect, they just tend to word things oddly sometimes
- They're actually a bit of a crybaby, though they do their absolute best to never let anybody know
- Zed often tries to eat things that aren't edible. They'll chew on anything like it's a chewtoy.
