Blind paladin whose faith in her Godess allows her to "see".

Backstory: Soliaire grew up in a small village and had admired the city guards sent to protect them ever since she could remember. She took to sneaking out during school to watch them train, mimicking their movements from where she hid behind the treeline. When she was old enough, she enlisted in the guard and passed with flying colors, taking on smaller tasks in hopes of one day becoming part of the King's Royal Guard. One mission led her and two fellow guards face to face with monsters unlike any they had ever seen. Living shadows that mimicked their every move and were always one step ahead. Soliaire watched as her allies were felled by their shadow counterpart before an ice-hot slash across her eyes and nose blinded her as she crashed to the ground.

Soliaire awoke on warm grass, the sky marbled with the blue and pink of dawn. As she rose, her eyes fell on a woman made of pure golden sunlight; the godess Eos, Mother of Dawn and Daylight. Soliaire scrambled to her knees in a deep bow. Eos' chuckle chased away any chill left in her bones, leaving a languid warmth in it's wake. Eos bent to match Soliaire's height, lifting her chin with golden fingers. Eos explained that Soliaire was dying, but this was not where her story ends. Pledge an Oath to her, and Soliaire would be able to avenge her fallen friends and anyone else who was victim to the living shadows. Nothing could be done about Soliaire's eyes, but with her oath and the bright blue crystal gifted to her by the Godess, she'd see through Eos and protect the innocent from the shadows.
