Hideki

During the time that the moon is waxing and waning, Hideki is ruthless in his teasing, because Shota is a priss. Shota thinks he deserves to rule the whole of the moon because he is more level headed, and elegant, and the ethereal beings prefer him., but, the power of both wasn't given to him, just the power of the full moon. And during these times between their full reign, they are not allowed to step past each other's border. They will die. They have been barred from seeing the sights from the other's sides. The honor to guard the moon must stay sacred. 

Over the course of the centuries, Hideki and Shota end up falling in love. But they cannot ever touch each other. Some nights, they spend it together at the edge, their hands lingering over one another, wanting to touch, but they couldn't, no matter how much they had wanted. 

The only time they are ever allowed to touch, is when it is time for them to choose the new guardians, and they are allowed one last day of their existence, and they plan to make the most of it.
