Harvesters are a smaller subgroup of the larger role of “exorcist”, or someone who is tasked with dealing with manifestations. Manifestations can only truly be dispelled with the use of a favor, with some being better suited for the task than others. While exorcism deals with the complete eradication of a manifestation, harvesters capture the manifestation, and convert them into pure energy to be used for powering artificial favors. This sort of practice is widely looked-down upon, receiving much ire both from government officials and much of the public, despite its benefits.
