Bree grew up an only child, her father owning a high class hotel, and her mother a tax accountant. She grew up on Akalas Island, and hasn't gone out much, aside from the usual family vacations across seas. Living a very easy and stress free life. Maybe because it seemed her parents didn't take much a path to being any type of trainer, Bree had little interest as well. The Pokemon in her care, being more like beloved pets. She was never very good about making friends that were people though, her only friend for the longest time being the son of the mayor, Izzy.  The two were close, and Bree was quite content with the way things were in her life.

There was always a bit of a problem with missing children cases on the island, many of times children of tourist would just go up and missing. As of recent though it would seem the numbers were starting to increase, to the point it was making headlines. The most recent case, would end up being the mayors only son. Bree heartbroken that her only friend is missing, now spends her days alone.

The story opens up with Bree having a close encounter to being kidnapped herself. Being saved by a boy new to the island, Chance. The two striking up an unlikely friendship thanks to the situation. They now find themselves trying to learn more about the situation, sticking their noses where they really don't belong. As the two dig deeper, it becomes more apparent that for whatever reason children are going missing, many powerful and rich people are behind this. Leading Bree to slowly grow more weary of her father, Celio.
