Nico

Father Nico is the paranoid, scrawny spawn of a wealthy Italian family and the opposite of his eldest brother who is an esteemed knight in the crusades. Nico had aspirations for classical art but was instead raised as an altar boy and later his parents put him through clerical school. Despite his weak constitution and lack of faith, he has a sharp mind and excelled in his educational career. He easily landed a place in a local parish. Nico has a vice for sweets and secret male lovers. He has a special interest in the history of anchorites despite them having gone out of style for quite some time. He dreams of being walled away so that he can find his faith without worldly distractions, but he keeps this to himself. Nico engages in self flagellation with great gusto, thinking himself a martyr of some kind.
