My Tiefling theif for a DnD campaign

Bluntly says what others are hinting at/hiding.
He is incredibly slow to trust. Those who seem the fairest often have the most to hide.

He helps the people who help him, he doesn't care about anyone else.
He believes that it's not stealing if he needs it more.
He likes to steal books from libraries, after he's done reading his pilfered books, he'll sell them off to the nearest interested party.


Iago is notorious for stealing things in his hometown. at one point a large group of pirates pissed him off by taking some of his things, that same night he snuck onto their ship, stole loads of their riches, and ripped the flag off of its mast out of spite. The pirates left not long after, thoroughly humiliated.

A greedy noble heard of the ordeal and sent his private task force to confiscate the riches for himself. Iago snuck through the noble's abode and painted "catch me if you can" all over the walls, taking whatever he could find. A hefty reward has been placed on his head.
