    Though void of eardrums, the eyesight provided by their secondary set of eyes is perceptible and accurate enough to decipher vibrations through objects and air currents into "audible" sounds. While these larger eyes provide perfect "hearing" as well as being capable of views at a microscopic scale, they are just as well limited by their own field of view. Thus, while quite observant and focused, they may suffer with a lack of alertness and awareness of their own surroundings. This is also a trait present in Grier's very personality, as someone who often has little regard for beyond what's present in their own scope of things, while being exaggeratedly attentive towards such. 

    As a (formerly licensed) biomedical researcher specializing in endocrinology, Grier is able to concoct various hormonal cocktails which, combined with an experimental metabolism accelerating catalyst (precisely the one which had their license suspended), promotes extremely quick and quite extreme changes upon the body, albeit only temporarily. While these would be absurdly dangerous for average bodies to consume, Grier's own heavily mutated genetic makeup (the very thing which drove them to further delve into biomedical research, as they sought to know more of their own bizarre nature) seems to provide a certain resistance to various side-effects, allowing them to take their experiments even further. Heavily dilluted versions of these cocktails are also available to consumers in the black market, while the undilluted stock is reserved for Grier's personal use only.
