One of my Pathfinder characters I'm waiting to use in a campaign!
Pelagia grew up in Ravounel, northern neighbor to Cheliax, and is descended from a line of talented but otherwise unknown spellcasters. Being born a tiefling drew special attention to their potential; their parents are followers of Irori, and therefore encouraged Pelagia to contribute their innate skill towards further magical discovery. The problem was... they couldn't. Something was missing, and although they certainly tried to apply themselves to their studies, their stunted magical growth had them falling behind.
That is... until they met Purdie, an infernal spirit with an insatiable greed for knowledge. The two made a pact as spellcaster and familiar; the result is two minds sharing one body. Turns out that what Pelagia's magic needed was a conduit, and that was what they got! Now they're best friends. <3
