Personality.
LOYAL / NERVOUSvenus is a usually quiet and reserved person. they rule over the kingdom of seraphim, a glorious kingdom in the skies above the olipeligo, where they spent most of their early time on empires - only vaguely aware of the other rulers that inhabited the land. because of this, venus is incredibly anxious when meeting new people, often shying away from conversation or covering their face with their headwings in an attempt to avoid eye contact or conversations.

enneagramonce they open up, venus can be a delightful person to be around, going out of their way to keep the people they care about safe. they frequently will spend days in the empires of the other rulers they're close to, keeping things tidy and together.

Pre-Empires .
Before the other rulers showed up, Venus lived a peaceful life in Seraphim. They and Oli were the first rulers to arrive, albeit they never interacted early on, but they were both very aware of each other, sometimes coming as close as to briefly wave to each other, but never speaking. Their time before everyone else showed up was mostly peaceful, often spending their days comfortably on Seraphim, collecting resources and building up their empire.
Empires .
During their time on Empires, Venus originally shyed away from meeting any of the many rulers that had shown up and begun their new kingdoms, it was only when Oli visited Seraphim that Venus began to open up, taking the newfound friendship as a chance to try to meet other rulers with the help of Oli.
After some time, they got closer with Oli, starting a romantic relationship with him. As well as becoming close friends with Joel, Lizzie, and Sausage. They still weren't exactly the most social ruler, but they were content with the small group of people they had gotten close with.
Post-Empires .
When Oli first told Venus that he wanted to fake his death to start a new life, they were hesitant, but nonetheless agreed to go along with it if they could come along with him. Obviously, Oli agreed to bring Venus along so they could start a new life together.
After they left, they settled down in a cozy cottage away from everything, and eventually... They did get back in contact with their old friends, explaining away what happened, hoping that they could all simply laugh off the absurdity of it all.

strength
while not incredibly physically strong, venus' strength is within their words - they're incredibly eloquent and persuasive when they want to be, although they often only do this to convince people that venus is more interesting than they think they are.
ability
unlike other rulers, venus doesn't need to craft or find an elytra to fly - due to being an angel, they naturally have wings that allow them to soar to the skies.
weakness
venus is rather physically weak, often not engaging in physical combat due to the fact that they tend to not win the few fights they have picked. they often keep someone beside them to protect them from any monsters when they go exploring.
Trivia .
- they have a sibling-like relationship with joel.
- despite the similar aesthetics and general deity status, the two are not actually related.
- Despite having a dislike towards green apples, they like the red ones just fine. They find the green ones too bitter.
- Their voiceclaim is Penny from Pokemon.
Design notes .
- they rarely ever have their face fully uncovered unless around people they trust.
- their sleeves are long enough to cover their hands, but they try to fix them to sit normally.
- their wings (both sets) and halo are non-optional.
- they have multiple outfits, but all of them tend to follow a similar aesthetic.
