elliot is the type of guy to spend three hours telling you why that slasher movie you guys just watched isn't actually a REAL slasher movie because technically speaking the villain wasn't human and that just makes it a horror movie with a lot of deaths, the type of guy who used to actively go to scoops ahoy to buy ice cream just so he could talk to steve for a few minutes, and most CERTAINLY the type of guy that when he heard about an alternate world with monsters in it; he believed it.

by nature he's a very excitable and cheerful person, with a lot of love and care for the kids of hawkins (especially after learning everything they've been they've been through) and a love for almost all horror movies, even if they're inherently awful in any and all ways.
