D'arcy Merlow

Once a proud and powerful wizard-for-hire, D'arcy served the Aridian military well for years. The advent of Mist-powered Synthetic Black Mages, however, has left her obsolete and out of a job. She now spends her days drinking away her ambitions and her woes, and performs as a street magician to get by. Her fearsome black magicks have whittled away to naught but cheap parlor tricks. She harbors resentment towards a local mercenary by the name of Klein Kassidy. Not only is she jealous of his successful career and his amazing inventions, but she's generally annoyed by his carefree demeanor and boastful attitude.
