FIGHTING STYLE
Vex is a powerful fighter who can take on just about anyone in battle, regardless of their typing or abilities. His sheer strength combined with his Technician ability, which boosts the power of his weaker moves, makes it so each of his attacks packs an extra punch. Unlike other marshadow, he doesn’t mimic the fighting styles of other Pokémon, preferring to do his own thing instead.
Vex is incredibly agile and skilled in evading attacks. His nimble movements around the battlefield are so quick and precise that his opponents often become disoriented, creating the perfect opportunity for him to strike from the shadows. His main strategy is to catch his opponents off guard with a series of evasive actions before unleashing a barrage of fast-paced attacks. Because of this, opponents with moves or abilities that ignore evasion present a huge challenge for him.
Vex’s biggest weakness in a fight is his rash nature. Since most of the battles he finds himself in are chaotic and unpredictable, he’s used to leaping into action before coming up with a plan. He’s good at thinking on his feet, but he’s still susceptible to being caught off guard, especially if his opponents are able to counter his evasion-based strategies. His victory ultimately depends on whether he’s able to come up with a good counter strategy fast enough.
Due to the events of his past, Vex is hesitant to use any sort of power boosting items, especially Z-Crystals. Although he does own one, he has yet to ever use it.
